BEEF STROGANOFF

1 1/2 lbs. strip steak
lb. of fresh mushrooms sliced
small onion diced
pt of sour cream
1/2 stick butter
freshly ground pepper
dash of nutmeg

saute diced onion and sliced mushrooms in butter until golden allowing most of the moisture to evaporate.
while sauteing, broil steak to desired doneness.
when onions and mushrooms are done, gently fold in sour cream, season with pepper and nutmeg.
heat slowly but not to boiling because the sour cream will separate.
pour over sliced steak.
serve steamed broccoli on the side.
