1 lb. lean ground beef 1 lg. onion chopped. 1 green (or red, or yellow) pepper, chopped chili 8 oz mushrooms chopped roughly into 1/2" pieces 1 container firm tofu (not sure of size) cut into cubes approx 1/2" 1 large can crushed tomatoes 1 small can tomatoe paste 2 tbsp chili powder 2 tsp ground cumin 2 tsp curry powder 1 tsp dried oregano 1/8 tsp ground allspice Optional: Shredded cheese
1. Brown ground beef, crumbling as it cooks.
2. Add crushed tomatoes and tomatoe paste.
3. Serve with shredded cheese on top of chili. |
