    What is Fibromyalgia

  • Fi-bro-my-Al-ja Syndrome (FMS) produces chronic, body wide pain
which migrates and can be felt from head to toe.
Other symptoms include persistent fatigue, headaches,
cognitive or memory impairment, morning stiffness,
    and non-restorative sleep.

  • Over 6 million Americans are afflicted-90% are women.

  • Symptoms usually appear between 20-55 years of age,
but children are also diagnosed with fibromyalgia syndrome.

  • Pain and severe fatigue may keep FMS sufferers from their
chosen profession and unable to perform common daily tasks.

  • Fibromyalgia pain continues throughout a person's lifetime.

  • So far there is no known cause, or cure for FMS.

Except for a new/old medication Guaifenesin.

Set your standards high
You deserve the best.
Try for what you want
And never settle for less.

Believe in yourself
No matter what you choose.
Keep a winning attitude
And you can never lose.

Think about your destination
But don't worry if you stray
Because the most important thing
Is what you've learned along the way.

Take all that you've become
To be all that you can be.
Soar above the clouds
And let your dreams set you free.
